Campfire Scene Platter, or, What Am I Doing With My Life?
I love to go to Red River Gorge and rent this little A-frame cabin. There's a firepit outside and even though I've never made a fire in it, I envisioned this scene once where a frog stopped by one evening. In the glow of the campfire, it's natural to ponder one's life. Unfortunately, this frog didn't have any answers. This dish is 13" x 11" x 1.5". It's great for charcuterie or even a whole chicken!
Each piece is wonkily handbuilt. If you are looking for a pristine piece of handmade ceramics then this is not it! It is built securely but with character. It is food and microwave safe, but I would recommend lovingly hand-washing it. Each piece is one of a kind, made out of earthenware clay and painstakingly sgraffito-ed with goofy imagery.
