I created this Blackburnian Warbler ornament because I can’t get over its fiery orange throat and delicate spring presence.
On the front, it perches among budding leaves; on the back, I etched a sweet bug and leafy pattern. It’s about 3.25″ × 2.25″, hand-built from earthenware clay, then hand-drawn, hand-colored, and glazed by me. It ships in a cute little gift box—and honestly, I think it belongs up all year long, not just during the holiday.
These ornaments are made in a series, so expect tiny variations—each one has its own quirky character, just like the birds themselves.
