I found this little note in a sketchbook from a few years ago and I really liked it. I don't know what it's from and I tried to look it up so it's a mystery. Maybe I made it up. I drew this hiker who looks out over a purple, orange, and blue vista at the end of a long hike. It's worth it. This dish is 6" x 13" x 1.5". It's great for charcuterie or crudite, or serving long veggies like charred broccoletti or grilled carrots. It is completely functional but also has holes in the foot to string cord through if you'd rather display it on the wall.
Each piece is wonkily handbuilt. If you are looking for a pristine piece of handmade ceramics then this is not it! It is built securely but with character. It is food and microwave safe, but I would recommend lovingly hand-washing it. Each piece is one of a kind, made out of earthenware clay and painstakingly sgraffito-ed with goofy imagery.
