I Love Being Quiet With You Vase

Another vase about that nice feeling of intimacy that comes from being close enough to someone that you can be quiet with them. Two friends have made a pot of green tea in a breakfast nook and flip through books or just daydream. Behind them is a built in bookshelf filled with books, wine, and some teapots. The reverse of the vase shows a close up of their table with green tea, flowers, and a book about prairie gardens. 

The imagery on this vase is made through sgraffito, underglaze, and decals to create an intricately layered image that has a lot of fun things to discover. 

Dimensions - 4.75" x 6" x 2"

Each piece is wonkily handbuilt. If you are looking for a pristine piece of handmade ceramics then this is not it! It is built securely but with character. It is food and microwave safe, but I would recommend lovingly hand-washing it. Each piece is one of a kind, made out of earthenware clay and painstakingly sgraffito-ed with goofy imagery.
