I have been fixated on/captivated by Princess Di for a long time, probably since the morning the Washington Post showed up on our front porch with the front-page-news that she had passed. Years later, I was caught up in the whirlwind of documentaries, podcasts, and conspiracy theories left in the wake of her larger-than-life legacy. Anywayyyyyy I made this hat because I love her and I recognize that she's a complicated hero and a complicated victim. I think in that way she is the poster board for where my feminism is sitting right now.
