My Limited Editions give me a change to make an edition of smaller and less expensive pieces while exploring work in a series. I find that working in multiples gives me a chance to enjoy the imperfect inconsistencies that happen when repeating designs.
For spring, I decided to make a series of plates centered on the drama of baseball. Baseball is a true sign of Spring in my house and I always think it's interesting to project a little emotion onto the players. These plates are the perfect size for a slice of cake. You can choose between three different designs, the "I'm Sorry But I Think Baseball is Boring" plate, the "Here We Go Again" plate, and the "This Time it's for Real" baseball plate.
Each piece is wonkily handbuilt. If you are looking for a pristine piece of handmade ceramics then this is not it! It is built securely but with character. It is food and microwave safe, but I would recommend lovingly hand-washing it. Each piece is one of a kind, made out of earthenware clay and painstakingly sgraffito-ed with goofy imagery.
